“Critical race theory” has made its way into academia, entertainment, government and corporations. For a long time parents were unaware of the spread of CRT in schools because it was cloaked in various forms such as ” fairness,” “anti-racism,” or ” cultural responsiveness.” However, the remote teaching implemented by school districts across the country during the pandemic gave parents a glimpse into the content of their children’s classes and as a result uncovered some troubling issues.
Over the past year there have been incidents across the United States in which parents have objected to critical race theory. Encouragingly, parents are winning.
